I created this poster for Mondo’s Star Trek series. The excerpt below describes it much better then I ever could so I digress

"Mondo regular Jesse Philips returns with a visual ode to the burgeoning individuality experienced by Third of Five/Hugh from the classic Next Generation episode "I, Borg".

Jesse's unique style complements the nature of the episode illustrating the connections Hugh has to the collective as well as the new relationships he develops while on board the Enterprise which awaken the sense of identity suppressed by the collective. X-ray insets throughout the piece remind the viewer that there is flesh...a real heart at the center of the wires and machinery forced upon him by the Borg. The hard realization Picard eventually has to acknowledge in the episode."

It's hard to believe it's been 10 long years of Harry Knowles' Aint It Cool News Butt-Numb a Thon events! And this year's theme (obviously) is the Ten Commandments.

And nothing says 'The Ten Commandments' other than a Giant Robot Moses parting the Red Sea, crushing the Golden Calf, and bringing the stone tablets down from the mount...ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

Jesse Philips is the brain behind some of our best (and completely sold out) posters over the years, and he manages to trump himself every time. This poster is 24x36, individually numbered, and is printed by D and L screen printing out of Seattle! Mondo will only have 45 of this print for sale.

Every summer, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema takes to the road, departing from Austin, Texas on a whirlwind tour and hosting free 35mm screenings of famous movies in famous places. Known as The Rolling Roadshow Tour, it has been to the Field of Dreams in Iowa to show Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner live in person, Devil's Tower in Wyoming for a screening of Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind and Alcatraz Island for a screening of Escape From Alcatraz. In 2008, The Rolling Roadshow Tour is paying tribute to one of the most influential film series of the modern age, Sergio Leone's "dollars" trilogy, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
